| Well it looks like the osteoarthritis in my knee is going to prevent me from running anymore. (Cycling is still OK - yay!) It's been a fun 20 plus years, however, so I can't complain too much. Some of the greatest people I've met have been through running and racing, and I'd like to thank everyone I've ever trained or raced with over the years for the friendships and inspirations. I couldn't possibly be able to name everyone but some would include Mark Roberts, Steve Sullivan, Peter Haase, Peter Juknys, Jim Gilchrist, Gary Grundy, Bruce Pellow, Steve Copeland, Aaron Ramlal, Nick Merucci and all the London Pacers I've known. My dearly departed buddy Phil Norrie, who was with me for my first run and first race. Thanks to Paul and Kathy Roberts and John Ferguson and the Runners' Choice gang. My wife Debbie of course. Thanks Sherry Watts for the coaching. Ed Chelminiak and the Champion Cycle group. Thanks Brian Bailey and Kerry Molen. Thank you Erin Quipp and all the St. Thomas YMCA Triathlon club. It's been a great ride... now go get 'em! Cheers, Dennis |
